Freebie Friday

It has FOREVER since I’ve done a Freebie Friday post! I decided to bring it back because there are so many great AND free patterns out there to sew up. I know a lot of indie designers put their heart and soul into these patterns and then hand them out free – thank you! So here are a few that I’ve found for this week. They are all dresses, my mind is set on dresses and happy summer thoughts 🙂

1. Love Sewing Mag UK – Threadcount 3 in 1 Dress Pattern

This dress has 3 options and I love them all! I’m thinking version A or C would be perfect for showcasing busy prints. I tend to buy a lot of fun prints in quilting cotton and am always looking for a dress that will show them off. I think this could be it!

Note: In order to download the pattern you will have to answer a survey. They ask for your email, name, if you want to subscribe to their newsletter and 3rd party vendors. The pattern comes in sizes 6-14. I’m at 14 in the bust and 16 in the waist/hips but can easily grade that part out. The instructions show it goes up to size 24 but I guess the larger range isn’t free.

2. Sew Your TV – V Neck Dress Pattern

I choose this one because a v-neck dress is always super flattering on any figure. I also like the idea of making it in a knit and having nursing access.

Note:This dress comes only with the pattern itself and it’s in Russian. It came from porrivan.ru. It’s in European sizes 44-50 (14-20 USA sizes). No seam allowances. With that said, this is for advanced sewists.

3. So Sew Easy – Perfect Beach Dress

I want to go make this right now! It looks so comfortable and flowy. I’m a big fan of the back detail and that it’s an A-line dress. I also need a cute dress to put over my bathing suit when we head to the pool (I wish I we had a beach!!)
