Peek-A-Boo Patterns – Hideout Hoodie

Peek-A-Boo Patterns – Hideout Hoodie

Nico has been wanting me to make him clothes lately, which makes me super happy! I saw this amazing hoodie pattern and loved the extra details of it. This is the Hideout Hoodie* from Peek-A-Boo Patterns*.

The pattern comes with this crossover hood option or a regular neckline. You can also make it in short or long sleeves. The side panels on the front and back of both sides are great for scraps. I love that here is an option to for pockets too:

Nico just turned 4 and his sizing put him into the 4T (his chest measures 22.5″). The fit is perfect! The only change I made was add 1/2″ to the height of the hood and 1/4″ wider because he likes to “hide” in his hoods.

The fabric is a custom cotton lycra knit from Tiny Fox Custom Fabrics. It looks like they only have double brushed poly left in the body print. I think I might have to buy it 😀

Nico loves his hoodie and told me it’s soooo comfortable. He’s happy he can easily play in it!

He even talked me into making another one from his new “woowoo” fabric:

This fabric is also a custom knit cotton lycra from Vintage Lace Prints. He’s obsessed with this fabric. He asked for a t-shirt first – that review will be posted next month.

I will be making this pattern again and again. It’s my #1 top favorite for Nico currently!
